The challenges facing livestock farming are diverse and numerous. A lack of herbs to feed the animals, coupled with a farmer-herder problem, is causing food insecurity. Disordered rainfall patterns further compound this issue, making it difficult to obtain sufficient grass and water to sustain the livestock. The lack of an off-grid system to reach underground water adds to the existing challenges. Consequently, there is a scarcity of resources to feed all livestock, including sheep, beef, chicken, and camel on the farm. These challenges require innovative solutions to ensure the sustainability and profitability of livestock farming.
