Challenge Background

Nigeria’s regions affected by desertification, suffer greater challenges, due to inability to access water through energy sources. The lack of water has also resulted in migration, conflicts, and loss of livelihoods. The GGW will continue to express drought, desertification, migration, conflicts, loss of livelihoods with innovative technology approach. Solutions for the GGW requires adaptation measures and fast.

What we are looking for

We want to develop and implement Climate Smart Agriculture projects in partnership with NAGGW and Nigeria. To do that, we need adaptive seedlings technology for land restoration to NAGGW

Solution criteria

Solutions to establish Climate Smart Agriculture to combat drought and desertification.
Establish afforestation programs with CO2 mechanisms.
Soil rescue mechanisms to revitalize the soil in arid lands, turning them into arable lands for farmers.
