Challenge Background

Low plant yield due to low soil nutrient: Several human activities such as bush burning, over grazing and over cultivation, reduce the biological activity and organic matter content of soil. Making the soil less productive consequently resulting in death of trees that are not well established.

What we are looking for

Technology to resotre and maximize soil nutrition for optimaizng trees & crops growth
- Boosting soil organic matter levels or simply sustaining healthy levels necessitates a consistent effort that includes adding organic materials back to the soil and rotating with crops that have deep or dense roots.
- Close management of tree plantation.
- Regenerative agriculture
